Nautilus auto-launch on Mint

Sun Mar 11, 2012 11:58 pm
I installed Mint 12 KDE. I've been enjoying the system for a while. Suddenly, Nautilus is launching at startup. It's not in the Mint startup section, and I can't find it mentioned in the ~/.kde path. Any ideas why Nautilus would auto-launch suddenly on startup?

Maybe the KDE session management launches it, because you had it opened when you last quit? Try to click "Start with empty session" in systemsettings -> Startup and Shutdown -> Session management".

Greetings

I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.

Oh. Sorry, I didn't even see that option the first few times through the system settings. I'll try that and let you know. And off I go to the corner of the classroom, dunce cap firmly in place... :)

If you still want to use KDE Session Resuming, this can be done by ensuring a process "nautilus" is no longer running on your system prior to logout. This should only occur when you have used Nautilus.
