Gtk-3 integration in kde

Mon Apr 09, 2012 7:20 pm
This has probbly been aasked 1000 times already, but I have yet to find an answer. I checked the arch wiki, but there was nothing aboout gtk3 here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Un ... plications
I cannot get oxygen-gtk3-git to work on gtk 3 apps.
This is my output in konsole:
Code: Select all
[john@john-archlinux ~]$ export | grep gtk
declare -x GTK2_RC_FILES="/etc/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:/home/john/.gtkrc-2.0:/home/john/.gtkrc-2.0-kde4:/home/john/.kde4/share/config/gtkrc-2.0"
declare -x GTK_MODULES="canberra-gtk-module"
declare -x GTK_RC_FILES="/etc/gtk/gtkrc:/home/john/.gtkrc:/home/john/.kde4/share/config/gtkrc"

I decided to ask here since I am unable to join the archforums (can't answer the security questions, they're mad hard).

Sorry, but that did not solve my problem.
I had no problem with kde and oxygen-gtk3 on opensuse or kubuntu.
Is there something arch-specific that must be done?

I don't know why this was so hard to find, but this solved my problem:
Code: Select all
ln -s /usr/share/themes/oxygen-gtk/gtk3.0 ~.config/gtk-3.0

Entering that into Konsole enables gtk3/oxygen integration.
