apt-get install is not working.

Tue Jul 10, 2012 5:24 am
Here,
I tried to install the wine utility using,
$sudo apt-get install wine.

it got installed with some errors (I suppose because it is not working.)

later when I try to install anything using apt-get install,
it downloads all the packages but later shows following window....

looks like you are supposed to accept the license, though not sure how - see this thread http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.p ... 88#p431713

can you install sw using muon or kpackagekit?

Solution: press <F12> (...maybe?)
I had the same problem as above with the MS-TTFont EULA in a box overwriting and blocking the Konsole/terminal window. After pressing every mouse/key-combo that seemed resonable, I went along the row of function keys pressing each one in turn. After hitting the <F12> key, the EULA box went away and an accept or reject box took its place. I used the arrow keys to get to "Yes" (mouse didn't seem to work) and pressed enter. That fixed it. Yay! Happy!
