I am using Debian testing branch.
I am trying to use KOrganizer but unable to enter events, reminders, etc. It keeps saying "no calendars found". I have tried to configure Calendar in Settings and set it to save to standard calendar, but it still doesn't work.

In the bottom left, you should have a list of calendars you have added. Please make sure they are enabled/checked.

Cooksley to the rescue as usual, great admin. The list you mention was empty and it was not easy to add a local calendar because those are stored in a hidden file .kde... I could see it in Dolphin by enabling view -> hidden files, but I could not navigate to it using the dialog box because there is no way to enable this view. Added it manually by typing in the path and the system was smart enough to fill the field as I typed. Anyway, everything is working now. Thank you very much. |
