I am on CentOS 6.3. My KDE version is 4.3.4. To fix some kde bugs I need to upgrade to one the latest version. The latest 4.6 is fine. How do I upgrade it?

I have followed instructions of updating to KDE 4.6: http://www.unixmen.com/upgrade-to-kde-46/
This includes a) Setting kde.repo b) runing "yum groupupdate kde-desktop". But this groupupdate did not install anything, saying:

Warning: Group kde-desktop does not have any packages.
No packages in any requested group available to install or update

the repos linked to on that article are empty, also the article is from 2011

as this is a distro specific query and you would best be served by posting on the CentOS forum

ps - moved as you are neither releasing nor packaging KDE SC or it's components
