when i use the do-release-upgrade from 12.10.
the gcin and hime can not use.
not just no tray.
the all hime is not function.
and i have try the another user.
it can not use too.

and i have try the live cd version.
it can use on the livecd.

is there any package that i need to remove.
or config i need to remove.

First thing I would check is that all necessary packages have been properly upgraded.
Otherwise, I would defer to the Kubuntu / Ubuntu forums here, as they are more likely to know more.
