This is most certainly a kubuntu issue, but I have not gotten any replies in #kubuntu, so I thought I would try this place.

When my kde (4.1.2) starts It also starts adept and knetworkmanager. Those are not started as a part of the session (i start with an empty session), nor from the autostart directory.

Does anyone have a clue how to remove these apps from the autostart?

There are also autostart files in the /etc/xdg/autostart directory.
