Unable to start KDE.

Thu Nov 21, 2013 3:37 am
When ever I try to login as regular user this message gets displayed.

Call to lnusertemp failed(temporary directories full?).

I'm unable to find appropriate solution for this issue. Please visit this link for detailed information. http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/101940/how-to-solve-call-to-lnusertemp-failedtemporary-directories-full-check-your. I tried every possible solution mentioned in this forum and other sites. How can I get this error fixed? If I create new user account then everything works normal. How can I run that other acount?

Please ensure that your normal user account owns your home directory, and has full write permissions there.
If you have been able to successfully start KDE using startkde, then at the very minimum ~/.kde4 or ~/.kde should be present.
