Hi everyone,
i have installed kde well, however when i run the KDE and click the "New project" nothing happens. While trying to work out the problem, i found that the problem is caused by the KDEDIRS env variable. It seems that the .sh used to set up KDEDIRS in the .kde/env/ directory did not run when launching the KDE. Can anybody tells me how to fix this problem? Thank you!!

maybe KDEDIRS needs to be set earlier as in .bashrc

if you open a new konsole instance is it defined?

ps - not that it matters but what app were you running to "open New project"

Please note that in order for shell scripts within ~/.kde/env/ to be sourced they must be marked as executable (chmod +x).
