kde 3.0 cant send files to a usb or disc to export them

i have akde fersion 3.0 from 2002 i use a isi operating system. i made a file and moved in to a temp directory and am trying to send it to a usb flash drive or cd.but we cant find anyway to find it to send the file anywhere to export it any help?
