Trying to install a SSD

Fri Apr 03, 2015 9:01 pm
I am currently running open Suse 12.3 and it works just fine, but now I want to install a SSD and then install a new OS, OpenSuse 13.2. I cannot get the disk to be recognized on the system.

moved to Operating System Specific -> Linux

did you partition the drive? https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Installation ... tate_Drive)

ssds are different and you should read up on how to best configure them and their partitions https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:SSD_perform ... rnal_links https://sites.google.com/site/easylinux ... n-opensuse https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:SSD_discard_(trim)_support

specific questions might be better responded to on the openSUSE forum
