Greetings, several time ago I looked for a way to enable touchpad tapping and I found the solution by downloading kde-config-touchpad and setting it up from system settings.
Recently, I found out that tapping was no longer working, so I went on system settings again and didn't find the touchpad tab anymore. I see that kde-config-touchpad is still installed and I was unable to solve this issue even by reinstalling it. The touchpad is working correctly, even things like double-tap scrolling is working fine, but double-tapping to click was disabled, therefore I don't think it's a touchpad not found-problem. Any ideas? I've of course googled for some similar issues, but only found people which didn't have kde-config-touchpad installed or whose touchpad didn't work at all. I've tried commands like synaptics and looked for packages like kcm_touchpad but found nothing, probably they've been obsoleted. |
