Hello,
Any time I open Learn Python the Hard Way (the book page) it completely logs my out of my computer. I am using Debian 8 "Jessie" with the KDE environment. This doesn't happen on my work laptop under the Gnome environment, only on my personal laptop with KDE. This occurs with both Iceweasel and the KDE specific browser. Not sure what to do here, I updated Java, but I don't see that being an issue, as I can access NetSuite just fine. Any info would be much appreciated, I don't want to switch from KDE, as I prefer the desktop environment (I only have Gnome on my work PC because of the better touch screen support). Thanks. Edit: I tried Debian Live with Gnome, and the same issue occurred. I have no idea why. |

just to confirm - this page http://learnpythonthehardway.org/ ? If so I opened it in Chrome, Rekonq, Firefox and Konqueror with no issue
things to try: - create and test a new user - disable java and java script - try Chrome/Chromium |

Iceweasel is the last stable release of Firefox on Linux, at least IIRC. I will try to download regular Firefox when I get home, I don't have any plugins in Iceweasel AFAIK. |
