I upgrade my Fedora from Fedora 14 Laughlin to now F26. However, since the beginning of F20 or F21, I can't start Plasma.

The screen went blank and then it shows "All Shell packages are missing..." message box. I found several ubuntu folks report the issues. Some just wiped out ~/.config/k* or ~/.config/plasma* and ~/.cache

I tried. It didn't bring Plasma back.

So I want to find the log file and figure it out why. I read Fedora KDE debugging -- https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/KDE/Debugging

1. There is nothing in my .xession-errors log

2. I enable debug in kdebugdialog. Even with fullmode option which redirect the log to file. But there is nothing.

So how can I debug the problem? I will never ever reinstall Fedora from scratch just because I love Plasma so much. There is no way in dnf that can force reinstall the whole kde-desktop.

Any advices?
