I'm using KDE 5.41, Plasma 5.11.x, Qt 5.10.0 on kernel 4.14.13
I can no longer access and put files on my tablet's external microSD storage. When I try I got this
Code: Select all
The file or folder udi=/org/kde/solid/udev/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:14.0/usb3/3-4/ does not exist

I searched, found others with similar issues but no fix. I saw this as well https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/MTP but all that needs to be installed are installed when I check Synaptic and as well, it does appear that my device is seen but yet I cannot access the ext storage.

Indeed lsusb shows
Code: Select all
Bus 003 Device 004: ID 04e8:6860 Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd Galaxy (MTP)

and
libmtp version: 1.1.13

Listing raw device(s)
Device 0 (VID=04e8 and PID=6860) is a Samsung Galaxy models (MTP).
Found 1 device(s):
Samsung: Galaxy models (MTP) (04e8:6860) @ bus 3, dev 6
Attempting to connect device(s)
USB low-level info:
bcdUSB: 512
bDeviceClass: 0
bDeviceSubClass: 0
bDeviceProtocol: 0
idVendor: 04e8
idProduct: 6860

I have no idea what else to look for or how to interpret much of these results. I would appreciate any help, suggestions please.
