Hi all,
New to Kdenlive and looking to upgrade my laptop to make video editing/rendering smoother.
I'd like to run kdenlive in one of the Ubuntu distros (currently using mate).
I have the possibility to get hold of the following quite cheaply...

Lenovo Y500

Intel Quad Core i7
Windows 10
16GB Memory
15.6" FULL HD Display
Nvidia GeForce GT 750M
128GB SSD + 1TB HDD

It's billed as a gaming machine.
Will this hardware a) run Linux and b) give good results running kdenlive?
If anyone has similar hardware I'd love to hear your experiences. Or, if not what do you think in general?
specially with respect to the Nvidia graphics card.
Just want to be sure before I commit to it.
