Hi,
can anyone give me a hint where I can find an apt repository for Kubuntu 8.10 to Install KDE4.2? I tried google, but couldn't find anything. Maybe I use the wrong search terms.
I would like to test it.

thanks,
Hermann

There are no KDE 4.2 beta 1 repositories by the moment.
But the project-neon repository packages periodically the trunk version, which is very close to the 4.2 beta 1.
Code: Select all

Heard that there probably will be beta2, but no beta1 packages for intrepid. Beta1 is in my opinion not stable enough for daily use, so it is a good idea to wait until 16th december.

If this is true, I think it has much more temporal reasons. The Nightly runs for me in any case better than any 4.1.x release before.

If Kubuntu would publish KDE 4.2 beta1 , I would switch immediately.

Yes, seems to be a time problem.
