I tried several way's to disable screen saving. Without success.
Any one who is able to come up with a working solution, is welcome to help me. Have to say that I am happy with Kubuntu - for graphical work it is far the best choice I found. After 20 years of Linux, and worked with several other distro's Kubuntu is one who is able to bring thumbnails from almost all graphical files I use, such as Krita .kra and MyPaint .ora files. |

Kubuntu does not come with a screensaver program. Do you mean screen locking, when the system is idle?
If so, then search System Settings for 'screen locking', and find the settings there. You also may need to configure the energy savings settings for the screen and/or suspend as well.

"screen locking"
After putting this in the search bar of the system settings it came up. Otherwise it was not visible. So I disabled "Lock Screen" And under "Energy" I disabled "Dim Screen" e.t.c. I will let you know if all works well. Thanks for helping me in this direction. Greeting KritpopCha |

It should be in the "Workspace behavior" section, but often it is easier to use search.. Sometimes these sections do get moved to different places when System Settings gets a refresh, so searching makes it easier than describing where it *might* me located

Well "Workspace behavior" is not the place where I should aspect this! It is a function witch behave to the system/display/energy. |

I don't disagree, but I myself would not immediately think to look at a display (hardware) or power configuration (hardware, again) for what I see as a desktop-related setting. So in any case, someone is going to be looking in the wrong place no matter what, it seems

Yes that's what I also noticed. Something as in: "To be in the wrong place, and to be in the wrong place anyway". |
