Login Manager in English but not in French

Hi.

My login manager is in English ; it's the default login manager for KDE 4.1.4.
Can someone tells me how can i do for having it in french, please ?

You will need to use your distributions utilities to set the system language. This is different from your personal language, set through System Settings. Your distribution should have instructions somewhere for changing the system language.

Thank's for your answer.

On my Debian, in the KDE Control Center, i have an "Advanced settings" tab with a login manager entry but i can't modify any of the parameters, they are in grey color, probably because i'm not root.

You can start system settings as root through "kdesu systemsettings" which will allow you to make changes there.
