I would like to know how to make .deb packages for KDE.

This would be great as I compile trunk and then want to install it - in many machines in my lab.

If some one can help me build a deb for just one module (kdesupport) - I can experiment it.

Many thanks

Packaging the whole of KDE is a difficult job, at Kubuntu we have a team of people to do it for each KDE release. There are tutorials for making .debs on wiki.kubuntu.org and elsewhere but you should start off with a small application and look at the existing packaging for it (e.g. apt-get source kiconedit). kdesupport includes several separate libraries, it's not just one package.

You could look into using Project Neon packages though, that includes the latest KDE in packaged form.

You can say hi on #kubuntu-devel IRC channel if you want to help out with packaging for Kubuntu :)
