Is there a way to remove all of the PIM apps that came with KDE? Or is there maybe a list of all that are considered PIM? I'll never use them (don't feel comfortable storing sensitive info like that, and don't need to for any reason), and I'd like to clean things up by getting rid of apps I don't need.
Thanks! |

You should be able to use the tools provided by your distribution to uninstall KDE applications.

True, but there is nothing that says "This is just a PIM app, is unimportant, and won't break your other apps if you uninstall." I don't really understand the interconnectedness of various apps. I was just wondering if there was a list, so I don't have to guess?

Application packages are usually in the form kde4-knode for example. You can safely assume that unless it has "lib" somewhere in it ( libcfitsio0 for instance ) it should be safe to remove.
Your package manager should guard you from breaking your system, but always review the list of what it is going to do, before committing.
