Remove a package

MatchpointOK Registered Member Posts 1 Karma 0	Remove a package Thu Feb 05, 2009 2:39 am I have installed Kubuntu 8.10 and want to upgrade to KDE 4.2. The 1st step is to remove the koffice-data-kde4 package and as a newbie I could use a little more descriptive instruction. You would have had to consciously add the repository koffice-kde4 is in and have manually installed koffice-kde4. If you're running a fresh Kubuntu 8.10 you can just add the KDE 4.2 repository in and upgrade. JontheEchinda, proud to be a member of the Kubuntu team since July 2008.
