I'm using Mandriva 2009.0 One with KDE 3.5

I tried but could not figure it out, I would like to install all of 4.2 with one file instead of down loading all the files separately.

Thanks for your help

This what happens in the console:

# urpmi.addmedia kde42-20090 ftp://ftp.oregonstate.edu/pub/kde/stabl ... 009.0/i586
adding medium "kde42-20090"
...retrieving failed: curl failed: exited with 9

no metadata found for medium "kde42-20090"

How do I correct this?

Thanks

Moved to the appropriate forum ( Operating Systems > Linux )

You missed out a section on the URL, try this one instead:
ftp://ftp.oregonstate.edu/pub/kde/stabl ... /RPMS/i586
