Well, this being a KDE forum I'd go and join the OpenSuse forum if I were you. Here you get people using all sorts of distros, so not really your target group...

Depends on what you want. Do you want KDE 3.5, 4.2.1, or trunk?

Well I fresh install suse11.1 it came with KDE4.1.3 release 4.9 and after I update to KDE4.2.1 then the problem start with plasma.
So I reinstall it again KDE4.1.3... and so far I no problem at all,the one is when I update again I will have 1000% sure I will have a problem with plasma. The only concern I have that is plasma make me big,big problem.

Tnx

http://en.opensuse.org/KDE/KDE4 explains the openSUSE options. I downloaded 4.2 on top of the KDE3 version of openSUSE 11.1 and I have had no problems at all with 4.2 or 4.2.1 which is now my desktop for serious work every day.
