Why is kde desktop not setting profile in a database end files, only setting up config end outher files.

It would certenly nice to have an profile on the desktop, where you could setup the software end enviroment in a profile end start all the included application for the desktop screen whit one click. Thereby i mean to justify the application windows on the screen.
