Hello,

I am trying to compile kdenetwork-3.5.10,
so in the rocess of making I recieve this error:

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lutempter
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status.

I checked /usr/lib and the needed librarie exists:

libutemper.so.0 -> libutemper.so.1.1.4
libutemper.so.1.1.4

What is the possible solution of this problem?

I have Red Hat 5.2 and KDE 3.5.4.

It is looking for "lutempter" not "libutemper". It is possible the library was renamed, so try making a symlink.
