KDM login of passwordless user?

I have a user with a passwordless login (I did "passwd -d $USER") and want to be able to login into KDE. If I try to login in a TTY, everything works fine. Mon May 11, 2009 3:26 am yes i am using this too for some users, the configuration is in system settings -> advanced tab -> login manager -> convenience tab , IIRC at least on my Kubuntu 9.04 KDE 4.2... enjoy!
