KDM login of passwordless user?

Sun May 10, 2009 3:01 pm
I'm on KDE4. I have a user with a passwordless login (I did "passwd -d $USER") and want to be able to login into KDE.
If I try to login in a TTY, everything works fine. But when trying to log through KDM, it says that it failed. What should I do?

there is a configuration for allowing passwordless logins, also you could just configure your user to auto login, skipping that step completely.
