Live CD and Ktouch

Wed May 20, 2009 9:17 am
Hello...

I wonder if anyone has got a tip on how to create a very light(as in ram usage) live CD or bootable USB Linux with just Ktouch as an application.

I have looked at different Linux distroes as Slitaz, Puppylinux and Damn Small Linux(DSL), in order to create a Live CD and/ or Bootable USB, that brings only Ktouch as an application.

So to be more specific... The general wish is to be able to boot almost any computer into Ktouch as the main purpose of the OS. Just Ktouch. No other applications like webbrowser etc.

Anyone got a good tip on where to start? What distro that will boot on most computers, requering a minimum of ram/cpu.

As far as I understand Ktouch is a KDE based application and thats why this post came up in this forum.

Best regards

I would advise you to try Arch Linux. It has a LiveCD making tool in repos and combine this with KDEmod which has KTouch as stand alone package, it should give you the thing you want.
