I have installed kde 4.2.90 from svn successfully. After that, I want to update my kdebase but I face a problem in the building :
[ 16%] Built target plasmapkg [ 16%] Built target solid-hardware_automoc Linking CXX executable solid-hardware /home/kde-devel/qt-copy/lib/libQtGui.so.4: undefined reference to `QCoreApplicationPrivate::checkReceiverThread(QObject*)' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: *** [runtime/solid-hardware/solid-hardware] Error 1 make[1]: *** [runtime/solid-hardware/CMakeFiles/solid-hardware.dir/all] Error 2 make: *** [all] Error 2 makeobj[0]: Leaving directory `/home/kde-devel/kde/build/KDE/kdebase' I try to update qt-copy and rebuild it again but that does not help. any idea ? |

Check if you have more than one libQtGui file, the symlink libQtGui.so.4 could point to an old one.

Thanks anda_ksoa for your replay. I use opensuse and I make sure that I have Qt4.5.1.x. Moreover, I get kde-qt from Qt git and build it but without result. |

Do you have both the kde-qt version of Qt and the distribution Qt present on your system?
If so, that is likely the problem, please ensure LD_LIBRARY_PATH, QTDIR, PATH, CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH have been set correctly as environmental variables.

Yes, I have kde-qt and distribution Qt (opensuse) and I have these values:
QTDIR=/home/kde-devel/qt-copy CMAKE_LIBRARY_PATH=/home/kde-devel/kde/lib CMAKE_INCLUDE_PATH=/home/kde-devel/kde/include CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH=/home/kde-devel/kde LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/home/kde-devel/kde/lib:/home/kde-devel/qt-copy/lib:/usr/lib/mpi/gcc/openmpi/lib PATH=/home/kde-devel/kde/bin:/home/kde-devel/qt-copy/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/lib/mpi/gcc/openmpi/bin:/home/kde-devel/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/bin/X11:/usr/X11R6/bin:/usr/games:/opt/kde3/bin:/usr/lib/jvm/jre/bin:/usr/lib/mit/bin:/usr/lib/mit/sbin:.opt/real/RealPlayer what do you suggest ? |

Can you run the Qt-Copy configuration procedure and make sure that all features are enabled? You may need to install some additional libraries. I use kdesvn-build to build Qt-Copy so I am unfamiliar with the process.

Please try cleaning the build directory, ensuring the correct environment variables are set, reconfiguring and rebuilding the affected module?
