this is my first time with compilation of KDE trunk...
I got this problem.... ------------------------------------------------------ ...... -- Up-to-date: /home/rajat/kde/share/apps/LICENSES/LGPL_V2 -- Up-to-date: /home/rajat/kde/share/apps/LICENSES/LGPL_V3 -- Up-to-date: /home/rajat/kde/share/apps/LICENSES/QPL_V1.0 -- Up-to-date: /home/rajat/kde/share/apps/LICENSES/ARTISTIC CMake Error: Error in cmake code at /home/rajat/kde/build/KDE/kdelibs/mimetypes/cmake_install.cmake:46: Parse error. Function missing ending ")". Instead found left paren with text "(". CMake Error at cmake_install.cmake:91 (INCLUDE): include could not find load file: /home/rajat/kde/build/KDE/kdelibs/mimetypes/cmake_install.cmake make: *** [install] Error 1 makeobj[0]: Leaving directory `/home/rajat/kde/build/KDE/kdelibs' rajat@BLueMooN:~/kde/trunk/KDE/kdelibs$ ------------------------------------------------------- I found one possible parse error in the file "cmake_install.cmake"... but the file seems to be a generated file since after removing that "possible" error when I do cmakekde again, it comes up again.... am I doing anything wrong....? is it a "cmake" issue? I'm running Kubuntu 9.04 with KDE 4.2.95..... I checked out the trunk on thursday (2nd july)... ...was following this page for reference: http://techbase.kde.org/Getting_Started/Build/KDE4 it's been four days..and i couldn't find any solution..... any suggesions?? any other help (some tutorial or anything) apart from this particular issue is also welcome... i will certainly find some problem again... after fixing this issue... Thanks in advance, rajat.

Are you checking this out from SVN or is this an extracted tarball?
If checking out from svn please ensure no files have been changed with
For any that have changed inn that directory, please run:
You need to be running at least CMake 2.6 patch 2. |

I checked the code out from the SVN
and i have "CMake 2.6 patch 2" installed in my system... I think, I should try to update the kdelibs again....since none of the files were modified...
