I use Slackware 12.2. I compiled KDE 4.3.0 using the guide provided on the website. However after compiling the kde-base runrime, I am not able to install anything in normal sense. Kdebase apps got installed but only ewhen i did a cmakekde from the kdebase-apps/apps directory. However after this, nothing is compiled. cmake report polkit QT not being found. All other dependencies are resolved. But this error persists. Can someone help me over that?

Unfortunately at this time it appears that KDELibs is dependent upon PolKit-Qt which is part of KDESupport. This is due to the new KAuth framework. I believe this will be sorted soon however.
