First let me say that I am Brazilian, and have not mastered the English language, so I'm using Google translator rsrs.
It appears to kde neon is facing difficulties, because the latest build is available from 1 month ago. Anyone know another way to test KDE 4.4 in Kubuntu 9.10 Alpha, without having to compile? Although not help with code I always try to test development versions to contribute to reports of possible bugs. Thank staff |

Unfortunately I do not know why the Kubuntu repositories would be out of date.
You may be able to find more information in #kubuntu on FreeNode.

In the backports for Jaunty is KDE 4.3.1 and it is also only available for Karmic, afaik. I don't think 4.4 will go into it until Karmic is released. Maybe you find someone with 4.4 in his own ppa.
