Knetwokr manager is not woking

I have a pc connected to a tp-link router via eth0 . My router gives to my pc a fixed ip only , the rest is automatic


If i use the networkmanager daemon then knetwork-manager doesn't recognize any connection.

But if i use the wicd deamon or i make a "sudo dhclient eth0" then everything works fine. Any advice on this?

Is your NetworkManager daemon running?
