Hi!
I have an Ubuntu PC which is permanently offline.
It runs on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.
It comes with default GNOME, but i want KDE on it as well Because KDE looks better!

Is there any way I could manually download the KDE Plasma Desktop?

Though this is not necessarily KDE related and thus should be better answered in a ubuntu/kubuntu forum, here it is:

Enter
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get -d kubuntu-desktop

This only download needed packages, no installation. Note though, this involves many dependencies, as it gives you a full blown KDE SC, with many apps, so better invest some time ;)
