Dear all,
I'm using Kubuntu 10.04 on my laptop. My computer has a Broadcom 4322 wifi + bluetooth driver. The bluetooth emits a high pitch noise when it's activated, so I would like to disable it definitively. Is there some automatically kde option that disables bluetooth at each boot? Thank you very much. Cheers. |

KDE does not have that option at this point in time.
You likely need to "rmmod" the appropriate module from the Kernel. You can get a listing using "lsmod". Please follow instructions available from your distributor on how to run a command as root on system startup.
