Dear all,

I'm using Kubuntu 10.04 on my laptop. My computer has a Broadcom 4322 wifi + bluetooth driver. The bluetooth emits a high pitch noise when it's activated, so I would like to disable it definitively.

Is there some automatically kde option that disables bluetooth at each boot?

Thank you very much.
Cheers.

KDE does not have that option at this point in time.

You likely need to "rmmod" the appropriate module from the Kernel. You can get a listing using "lsmod". Please follow instructions available from your distributor on how to run a command as root on system startup.
