Freebsd 8.1 KDE 4.5 install problem

Hi all.

I have spent many frustrating days trying to get KDE4.5 to install on Freebsd 8.1 to no avail. I recently completely reloaded the OS and tried again.

I now have a KDE desktop which hangs with a hard drive icon during the startup process.

Any assistance would be most welcome...

Can you please pastebin the content of ~/.xsession-errors?
Also, try removing /var/tmp/kdecache-$USER/
