Hello all I'm using a KDE 3.5.10 version and i was wondering if someone could refer me to a tutorial that actually explains how to upgrade from 3.5 to the newest version!

If I were you, I'd just back up my important files and do a clean install. If you don't want to do that, you can follow the instructions below. If your version of Kubuntu is older than 8.04, you may be out of luck.
If you have KDE 3.5.10, you probabl have 8.04 or older. I've found some instructions for upgrading. You'll have to upgrade to 9.10 and then upgrade to 10.04 from 9.10. This will help you to upgrade to 9.10. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/KarmicUpgrades/Kubuntu/8.04 Once you've done that, go here to see how to upgrade to 10.04 https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LucidUpgrades/Kubuntu

Thanks alot first of all, and go where ? for the 2nd link ? btw, Im running ubuntu 8.10 unfortunately i dont have the "Fetch Update" button like it shows in the tutorial link in the adept...

I have a problem my friend, Ive upgraded to 9.10(Terminal Says so) unfortunately I'm still on KDE 3.5.10 and the software updater says that new distribution available is 9.10 o.o

Okay, try this. Open Konsole and type
Reboot and then enter these three commands one at a time:
