Hello,
I am trying to install KDE4 onto a virtual box machine running FreeBSD 8.1. While trying to install it it threw some seg faults, but after some analysis I think this was just because it temporarily lost internet access. I am completely new to installing anything on a unix machine, but have been working with them for years. I am a Computer Engineering student so do have a basic sense of what is going on. What I am trying to do is run 'make install' from the /usr/ports/x11/kde4/ directory. I am getting the following error message at the moment though. If anyone has any thoughts or can help me I would REALLY appreciate it. Thank you very much for your time, Tim I have a screen shot of the image, but it is too large. Please take a look at it here https://ece.uwaterloo.ca/~tdworboy/KDEInstallError.png |

It appears that Qt4 has failed to compile. I suggest trying to rebuild Qt4, and otherwise contacting the KDE FreeBSD team for assistance.
