encrypted disks + kwallet

Sun Jan 30, 2011 1:59 pm
Is there a way, or is it planned to have a support for storing keys to encrypted disks in kwallet? This way, unlocking a wallet would enable the automounting feature to automatically mount disks without asking for a password.

There is a bug report on it: Bug 186783. However, there is not commentary from developers on whether they plan to implement it or not.

You mean it got a comment from a developer? That comment today is from me, and I'm not a developer.

I thought that might have happened. I don't really know which email belongs to a developer and which does not. Anyway, let's hope somebody will notice.

Thanks again.
