Kubuntu10.10
Platform Version 4.6.0(KDE 4.6.0) Version: 0.97-29ubuntu60 Description: GRand Unified Bootloader (Legacy version) desktop computer AMD 9600 Quad Core 2300mhz 64 bit GPU PNY 9600 nVidia GeForce 500mb ddr2 SDRAM 4gb Axiom EEC DDR2 SDRAM 6700mhz HDD Maxtor internal SATA 500gb Optical Drive internal SATA DVDRW 16X Kmail 1.13.5 I use the new 'Kmenu' not the traditional one. I set up my desktop with the 'panel' at the top of the screen. I placed the icons with most important on the right. Farthest right is the 'Kmenu' icon. When I click on the 'Kmenu'icon, a drop-down window with room for 6 items appears. "Favorites", being one choice, contains 10 items at present, so I have to continually scroll to get to an Item I want to open that is not among the six that are showing. Is there a way to increase the length, top to bottom, of the drop-down window containing menu items to the bottom of the screen before having to use a scroll feature. Even better would be to have the window containing the choices intuitive, in that perhaps in configuration you include up to a maximum of the screen height in either inches or centimeters, so that the box only holds the number of items you have in it until it fills the drop-down window from screen top to screen bottom before requiring scrolling to view the entire list. This may be an item for the wish-list, however, if it currently exists, it would be great to have the feature. Thanks! |

Kickoff (the new Kmenu) can be resized by dragging the resize handle in the bottom-left corner.
It does not support dynamic expansion based on size of contents.
