Just installed KDE-standard on my Ubuntu 11.04, now, when the logon screen comes up, there are two slots to fill out. I'm not sure what goes there. The first slot has a little man icon. If I put my name there are then in the "padlock" slot put my regular password, all I get is a terminal window. Am I actually logged on? What do I need to do in the terminal window?

I figured it out. You have to choose WHERE you want to logon to.
