How to get files from windows 7 if we are using dual O. S

Hi,

I am using both windows and Kubuntu 11.4 version. As pretty new to Linux and getting more interested with it. Most of the time I have to switch to windows to get the data files from there. Is it possible for me to get those files from there from Kubuntu instead of restarting my system.

Please help me!!

I thought it worked out of box in *buntu, see if you have anything in /media.
