Ubuntu, from which I have escaped to Kubuntu today, has a Startup Manager that allowed me to change the order/default of which operating system I want to boot into (I have a multiple-boot setup).
Where can I do that in Kubuntu? Thanks, Joseph |

Hi,
doesn't Kubuntu have kgrubeditor installed by default? I know that it is out there for grub2... Anyway, try and install it then check in systemsettings - there should be an entry for "configure grub".

Thanks - I found 'kde-config-grub2', which created 'GRUB2 Bootloader' in 'Startup and Shutdown' in 'System Administration' in 'System Settings' ... and that does the trick!

Try a "sudo apt-get install kde-config-grub2" on the command line. That should install it.

@ tandlj Could you please edit the subject line in your first post and put a [SOLVED] in there? That would help others locate the solution quickly - many thanks
