Can someone tell me a to Kubuntu comparable Linux-Distro with a rolling update and upgrade? I am fed up with waiting up to 7 months for a new fullgrade Upgrade in conjunction with a Distro-Upgrade. When a new Gimp version appears, I want it quickly, same with KMyMoney, etc.
Thanks for any tipps.

doesn't Kubuntu have backport repos which provides updated versions of apps and don't 3rd parties also (ex gimp http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/?p=19301)
rolling release - you can start here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rolling_release as there's a list there's been a recent proposeal about Ubuntu switching to a 1 month release cycle http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=n ... &px=OTg5MQ |

By Kubuntu comparable if you mean a KDE based distro, then you have the following:
1. PCLinuxOS 2. Chakra -SS. |

openSUSE has recently introduced a rolling release, Tumbleweed, http://en.opensuse.org/Portal:Tumbleweed but that means leaving a Debian based distro.
