Hi,
hope this is the right place form my question... (kind of difficult to know whats what here - for me that is). Hava a little problem with seting up KDE after the frist installation. I don't want for my screen to be turned off when my computer is idle. Tried the screen saver and power managment options. Nothing helped. It still turns off after ~10 minutes. Suggestions?... |

I got this far somehow.... problem is can't make it stick. Each time I reboot, settings go back to deafault. Although I use

I think you need to execute the command within your KDE session (not during the boot process), try putting it in an executable shell script and add the script to the autostart moudule in systemsettings
