'kernel driver not installerd.'
this is the mensage error that show when I run a new 'virtual-os'; all message is: "The VirtualBox Linux kernel driver (vboxdrv) is either not loaded or there is a permission problem with /dev/vboxdrv. Please reinstall the kernel module by executing" anybody knows how can I fix it? because I'm trying for hours fix it. I did: '/etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup' but the result is: Recompiling VirtualBox vboxadd kernel module, NOT. It has been packag TANKS FOR ANY HELP PS.: I'm now trying this: zypper install gcc kernel-source make automake autoconf kernel-syms but I don't know if it will fix. HOW I FIXED: I used the line command zypper install gcc kernel-source make automake autoconf kernel-syms and after I just reinstall the aplication.

Not really related to KDE, I would ask in the openSuse forum if you don't get any answers here.
Have you tried to reinstall VirtualBox? Is your user in the vboxusers group?

you are sure about that. I'll post on a suse's forum. After update kernel version, I'm now reinstalling the virtualbox using the file downloaded from oracle's site; and not from software management. tanks for your help. |
