I'm a new Kubuntu user and had to install postgresql and pgadmin, since I had some problem setting it up I made uninstall from terminal but I still have it all in Kmenu/applications and can still run the software. Why is that possible, how do I remove the software completely from my system Dolphin search does not give any files or folders related to postgres and pgadmin.

It is likely that the extra applications have not been removed. I would recommend searching for their names in your package manager and removing them that way.
