I'm a new Kubuntu user and had to install postgresql and pgadmin, since I had some problem setting it up I made uninstall from terminal but I still have it all in Kmenu/applications and can still run the software. Why is that possible, how do I remove the software completely from my system

It is likely that the extra applications have not been removed. I would recommend searching for their names in your package manager and removing them that way.
