Screen (Saver?) on desktop

reb68 Registered Member Posts 24 Karma 0 OS	Screen (Saver?) on desktop Tue Apr 24, 2012 8:29 pm I have a series of pixel squares appearing on my desktop. Other times it is lines dropping down from the top of the monitor. Is this a screensaver that I have activated by accident? How can I stop it? I have gone to system settings but did not find any help. Thank you. A screenshot would also be helpful, but I guess the animation stops when you press a key or move the mouse? Problem solved? I did find a screen shot I took a while back that shows the desktop I am trying to get back too. I do not know what I did to lose it and messed up trying to reinstall it. Thanks for any help. I think I got the screen saver problem that was putting the dots on the screensolved. Now I want to find this desktop again.
