In KDE QML is mainly used just for Plasma Active & Widget
but why we don't have some application written or used in UI ?! |

Porting existing QGraphicsView code to QML will take some time, especially as QML is still itself being polished, and has some essential changes in Qt5.

Because you don't rewrite something that works.
Probably most of those, when are rewritten, if needed, they will use QtQuick, IMHO. |
